If We extend anyone's life, We reverse his development. Can they not use their reason? 68 And We did not give Prophet Muhammad, knowledge of poetry, nor is it befitting for him. It is not but a message and a clear Qur'an 69 That it may warn him who would have life, and (that) the word may prove true against the unbelievers. 70 Have they not seen how that We have created for them of that Our hands wrought cattle that they own? 71 We have subjected these to them, so that some may be used for riding and some for food, 72 From cattle they get milk and other benefits. Will they not then give thanks? 73 And yet they have taken gods, other than Allah, so that they might be helped! 74 but they are not able to help them: rather they will be brought before God as their allied host. 75 However, be not grieved by the sayings of those [who deny the truth]: verily, We know all that they keep secret as well as all that they bring into the open. 76 Has not man regarded how that We created him of a sperm-drop? Then lo, he is a manifest adversary. 77 And he propoundeth for us a similitude, and forgetteth his creation; he saith: who shall quicken the bones when they are decayed? 78 Say: He will revive them Who produced them at the first, for He is Knower of every creation, 79 He has created fire for you out of the green tree from which you can kindle other fires. 80 Is not He who created the heavens and the earth able to create the like of these? Yea! He is the Supreme Creator, the Knower. 81 And His only task when He intends a thing is to command it, “Be” – and it thereupon happens! 82 So exalted is He in whose hand is the realm of all things, and to Him you will be returned. 83
