The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By those who set the ranks in battle order 1 By the angels driving away. 2 and those who recite the Remembrance 3 Verily your God is One. 4 Lord of the heavens and of the earth and all that is between them, and Lord of the sun's risings. 5 We have decked the lower heavens with stars 6 And to guard against every rebellious devil. 7 they listen not to the High Council, for they are pelted from every side, 8 driven away, and will suffer eternal punishment. 9 Except him who snatcheth away a word by stealth, and him then pursueth a glowing flame. 10 Then ask them whether they are stronger in creation or those (others) whom We have created. Surely We created them of firm clay. 11 Nay, but whereas thou dost marvel, they [only] scoff; 12 And when they are admonished, they receive not admonition. 13 And when they see a sign, they ridicule 14 And they say: this Qur'an is naught but magic manifest. 15 “When we are dead and have turned into dust and bones, will we certainly be raised again?” 16 along with our forefathers?" 17 Tell them: “Yes; and you are utterly helpless (against Allah).” 18 It shall be but one shout, lo! they shall be staring. 19 and they will say: 'Woe for us. This is the Day of Recompense' 20 This is the day of the judgment which you called a lie. 21
