The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
CONSIDER these [messages] ranged in serried ranks, 1 and the scarers scaring 2 and those who recite the Exhortation; 3 Verily your Ilah (God) is indeed One (i.e. Allah); 4 The Lord of the heavens and the earth and what is between them, and Lord of the easts. 5 We have decked the lower heavens with stars 6 and have made them secure against every rebellious, satanic force, 7 They cannot listen to the speech of those on higher elevations and they are targeted from every side. 8 They are rejected and theirs is an everlasting punishment; 9 except such as snatches a fragment, and he is pursued by a piercing flame. 10 AND NOW ask those [who deny the truth] to enlighten thee: Were they more difficult to create than all those [untold marvels] that We have created? - for, behold, them have We created out of [mere] clay commingled with water! 11 Yet while you are filled with wonder, they just scoff; 12 And when they are admonished, they receive not admonition. 13 And when they see a sign, they ridicule 14 And they say: This is nothing but clear magic: 15 What, when we are dead and become dust and bones, shall we be resurrected. 16 “And also our forefathers?” 17 Say (O Muhammad SAW): "Yes, and you shall then be humiliated." 18 There will be but a single blast and then their eyes will open. 19 They will say, "Ah! Woe to us! This is the Day of Judgment!" 20 (It will be said): "This is the Day of Judgement which you used to deny." 21
