The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
By those (angels) ranged in ranks (or rows). 1 Then those who drive away with reproof, 2 And those who recite the message, 3 surely your God is One, 4 Lord of the heavens and the earth and everything between them; Lord of the Easts. 5 We have indeed decked the lower heaven with beauty (in) the stars,- 6 and to preserve against every rebel Satan; 7 so they cannot listen to the High Assembly, for they are pelted from every side. 8 And kept far away. There is perpetual punishment for them, 9 Except him who snatches off but once, then there follows him a brightly shining flame. 10 (Muhammad), ask them, "Have they (people) been created stronger than what We have created?" We have created them from moist clay. 11 Nay, thou marvellest; and they scoff 12 And when they are admonished, they receive not admonition. 13 And when they see a sign they incite one another to scoff, 14 And say: "This is only magic. 15 They say, "Shall we be brought to life again after we die and turn into dust and bones? 16 Will our forefathers also be brought to life again?" 17 Say: 'Yes, and in all lowliness.' 18 There will be but a single blast and then their eyes will open. 19 They will say, "Woe to us!" (They will be told), "This is the day of receiving recompense". 20 "(Yes,) this is the Day of Judgement you had called a lie." 21
