The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
By those who set the ranks in battle order 1 and those who drive away [the wicked] with reproof 2 and those who recite the Exhortation; 3 surely your God is One, 4 Lord of the heavens and the earth and that between them and Lord of the sunrises. 5 Verily We! We have adorned the nearest heaven with an adornment: the stars. 6 And as protection against every rebellious devil 7 they cannot overhear the Higher Assembly for they are pelted from every side, 8 Outcast, and theirs is a perpetual torment; 9 Except such as snatch away something by stealth, and they are pursued by a flaming fire, of piercing brightness. 10 (Muhammad), ask them, "Have they (people) been created stronger than what We have created?" We have created them from moist clay. 11 Yet while you are filled with wonder, they just scoff; 12 They pay no attention when they are reminded 13 And when they see an Ayah (a sign, a proof, or an evidence) from Allah, they mock at it. 14 saying, "This is plain sorcery!" 15 "What! When we have died and become dust and bones, will we be brought back to life again, 16 What, and our fathers, the ancients?' 17 Say: 'Yes, but worthless' 18 For it is only a single scaring, then behold, they are watching 19 and they will say: 'Woe for us. This is the Day of Recompense' 20 (A voice will say,) "This is the Day of Sorting Out, whose truth ye (once) denied!" 21
