The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the rangers ranging 1 And those who drive away (the wicked) with reproof 2 By those (angels) who bring the Book and the Quran from Allah to mankind [Tafsir Ibn Kathir]. 3 Indeed your God is surely only One. 4 Lord of the heavens and of the earth and all between them, and Lord of every point at the rising of the sun! 5 We have adorned the lowest heaven with the beauty of the planets; 6 to protect them from the rebellious satan. 7 So that they are not able to listen to the angels of higher (echelons), and are pelted from all sides 8 and driven away to suffer the necessary torment. 9 Except one who snatches [some words] by theft, but they are pursued by a burning flame, piercing [in brightness]. 10 AND NOW ask those [who deny the truth] to enlighten thee: Were they more difficult to create than all those [untold marvels] that We have created? - for, behold, them have We created out of [mere] clay commingled with water! 11 Nay, but thou dost marvel when they mock 12 and when they are admonished, they pay no heed; 13 When they see a sign, they laugh at it, 14 saying, "This is plain sorcery!" 15 What, when we are dead and become dust and bones, shall we be resurrected. 16 And our fathers too?" 17 Say: Aye! and you shall be abject. 18 Then it will be a single (compelling) cry; and behold, they will begin to see! 19 And say: Ah, woe for us! This is the Day of Judgment. 20 “Yes, this is the Day of Final Decision that you used to deny as a lie.” 21
