In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
By the aligners (angels) aligning. 1 By those (angels) who drive the clouds in a good way. 2 Then those who recite, being mindful, 3 surely, your God is One, 4 He is the Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, the Lord of the Eastern regions. 5 We have decked the lower heavens with stars 6 And as protection against every rebellious devil 7 [So] they may not listen to the exalted assembly [of angels] and are pelted from every side, 8 Being driven off, and for them is a perpetual chastisement, 9 Except one who sometimes steals a part, so a blazing flame goes after him. 10 AND NOW ask those [who deny the truth] to enlighten thee: Were they more difficult to create than all those [untold marvels] that We have created? - for, behold, them have We created out of [mere] clay commingled with water! 11 Nay, but whereas thou dost marvel, they [only] scoff; 12 and, when reminded, do not remember 13 And when they see an Ayah (a sign, a proof, or an evidence) from Allah, they mock at it. 14 saying, "This is plain sorcery!" 15 When we are dead and turned to dust and bones, how can we be raised again, 16 And our forefathers? 17 Say, "You will certainly be brought back to life in disgrace". 18 There will be but a single blast and then their eyes will open. 19 They will then say: “Woe for us. This is the Day of Judgement.” 20 (A voice will say,) "This is the Day of Sorting Out, whose truth ye (once) denied!" 21

As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
