The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
182 verses, revealed in Mecca after Animals (Al-An 'aam) before Luqmaan (Luqmaan)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By those who range themselves in ranks, 1 by those who drive away the devil (to protect Our revelation), 2 and those who recite the Exhortation; 3 surely your God is One, 4 The Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that lies between them, and the Lord of the Easts. 5 Indeed, We have adorned the nearest heaven with an adornment of stars 6 And to guard against every rebellious devil. 7 They cannot listen to the exalted assembly and they are thrown at from every side, 8 Being driven off, and for them is a perpetual chastisement, 9 Except him who snatches off but once, then there follows him a brightly shining flame. 10 Ask them thou: are they stronger in structure or those others whom We have created? Verily We! We have created them of a sticky clay. 11 Nay, but thou dost marvel when they mock 12 and when they are admonished, they pay no heed; 13 and when they see a miracle, they mock 14 And they say: this Qur'an is naught but magic manifest. 15 "What! When we have died and become dust and bones, will we be brought back to life again, 16 "And also our fathers of old?" 17 Say, "Yes, and you will be [rendered] contemptible." 18 It will be but one Shout, then see, they are watching 19 And they will say: Ah! woe be unto us! this is the Day of Requital. 20 [It will be said], "This is the Day of Judgement which you have been denying." 21

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
