۞ But We shall say, "Assemble those who did wrong together with their associates and what they worshipped 22 "Instead of Allah, and lead them on to the way of flaming Fire (Hell); 23 And halt them, to be questioned: 24 "What is the matter with you that you do not help each other?" 25 Nay, but on that Day they would willingly surrender [to God]; 26 And some of them draw near unto others, mutually questioning. 27 Some [of them] will say: "Behold, you were wont to approach us [deceptively] from the right!" 28 They will reply: "Nay, ye yourselves had no Faith! 29 "Nor had we any authority over you. Nay, it was ye who were a people in obstinate rebellion! 30 So the word of our Lord has come into effect upon us; indeed, we will taste [punishment]. 31 So we led you astray; we ourselves were strayed.” 32 So this day they all are partners in the punishment. 33 Certainly, that is how We deal with Al-Mujrimun (polytheists, sinners, criminals, the disobedient to Allah, etc.). 34 Whenever it was said to them: “There is no true deity apart from Allah,” they waxed proud 35 And they used to say, “Shall we forsake our Gods upon the sayings of a mad poet?” 36 Nay: he has come with the truth and verified the apostles. 37 You shall certainly taste the painful punishment: 38 You will only be recompensed according to your deeds.” 39 Not so, however, God's true servants: 40 For them is a known sustenance, 41 as the fruits [of their life on earth]; and honoured shall they be 42 In gardens of pleasure 43 upon couches, set face to face, 44 They will be served with a cup full of crystal clear wine, 45 white, a delight to the drinkers, 46 Neither they will have Ghoul (any kind of hurt, abdominal pain, headache, a sin, etc.) from that, nor will they suffer intoxication therefrom. 47 And with them shall be damsels of refraining looks, large-eyed 48 [as free of faults] as if they were hidden [ostrich] eggs. 49 Then they will turn to one another and question one another. 50 One of them will say: “I had a companion in the world 51 Who said: What! are you indeed of those who accept (the truth)? 52 When we are dead and have become dust and bones, are we indeed going to be requited? 53 He shall say: Will you look on? 54 Then he will look down and see him in the midst of the Flaming Fire. 55 He will say to him: -- By Allah, you almost ruined me. 56 Had I not the guidance of my Lord, I would certainly have been brought into torment". 57 Then he will say [to his blessed companions], "Are we not going to die, 58 and that we would not be punished?" 59 This is indeed the mighty triumph, 60 and for the like of this let the workers work. 61 Is Paradise a better accommodation or the tree of zaqqum? 62 Lo! We have appointed it a torment for wrong-doers. 63 It is a tree that grows at the bottom of Hell. 64 and its fruits are like the heads of devils. 65 And lo! they verily must eat thereof, and fill (their) bellies therewith. 66 then on top of it they have a brew of boiling water, 67 Then to Hell they will surely be returned. 68 Indeed they found their fathers astray. 69 and [now] they make haste to follow in their footsteps! 70 And indeed most of the men of old went astray before them; 71 although, verily, We had sent warners unto them: 72 Then see how was the end of those warned, 73 except for the chosen servants of Allah? 74
