۞ Gather together the evildoers, their wives, and that they were worshipping, 22 "Besides Allah, and lead them to the Way to the (Fierce) Fire! 23 And stop them; verily they are to be questioned: 24 "Why help you not one another?" 25 Nay, but this day they make full submission. 26 They will then turn towards each other (and start wrangling). 27 They shall say: Surely you used to come to us from the right side. 28 They will say: nay! ye yourselves were not believers. 29 Moreover, we had no power at all over you: nay, you were people filled with overweening arrogance! 30 and so we became deserving of the Word of our Lord that we shall be made to suffer chastisement. 31 So we led you astray; we ourselves were strayed.” 32 On that day they will all share the torment. 33 Verily, thus shall We deal with all who were lost in sin: 34 For when it was said to them: 'There is no god except Allah' they were always proud 35 saying, 'What, shall we forsake our gods for a poet possessed?' 36 No, indeed, he has brought the truth, and confirmed the Messengers. 37 you shall surely taste the painful punishment, 38 and be rewarded only according to your deeds." 39 But the chosen servants of God; 40 [in the hereafter,] theirs shall be a sustenance which they will recognize 41 Fruits, and they shall be highly honored, 42 In Gardens of peace. 43 On thrones facing one another. 44 Cups of wine will be presented to them in rounds, from a spring flowing in front of them. 45 white and delicious to those who drink it, 46 There shall be no trouble in it, nor shall they be exhausted therewith. 47 With them will be spouses, modest of gaze and beautiful of eye, 48 As if they were (delicate) eggs closely guarded. 49 They will turn to each other and ask questions. 50 A speaker among them will say, "Indeed, I had a companion [on earth] 51 “Who used to tell me, ‘Do you believe it is true?’ 52 When we are dead and have become dust and bones, are we indeed going to be requited? 53 He says, 'Are you looking down?' 54 He therefore looked down and saw him amidst the blazing fire. 55 and says: "By God! Verily, thou hast almost destroyed me [too, O my erstwhile companion] 56 And had it not been for the favor of my Lord, I would certainly have been among those brought up. 57 Then he will say [to his blessed companions], "Are we not going to die, 58 "Except our first death, and that we shall not be punished?" 59 Indeed, this is the mighty victory, 60 for the like of this let the workers work.' 61 Is that better by way of hospitality or the Zaqqum tree, 62 Verily We! We have made it a temptation for the wrong-doers. 63 It is a tree that grows at the bottom of Hell. 64 its spathes are as the heads of Satans, 65 Then most surely they shall eat of it and fill (their) bellies with it. 66 And thereafter verily they shall have thereon a draught of boiling water. 67 And thereafter verily their return is unto the Flaming Fire. 68 They found their fathers in error, 69 So they hastily follow their footsteps! 70 Thus, indeed, most of the people of old went astray before them, 71 although, verily, We had sent warners unto them: 72 Then look how was the end of those who were warned - 73 Except the chosen slaves of Allah (faithful, obedient, and true believers of Islamic Monotheism). 74

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
