۞ [The angels will be ordered], "Gather those who committed wrong, their kinds, and what they used to worship 22 Beside Allah, and lead them on to the path of the Flaming Fire. 23 And stop them, for they shall be questioned: 24 "Why help you not one another?" 25 Nay! on that day they shall be submissive. 26 And they will turn to one another, and question one another. 27 These say, 'Why, you of old would come to us from the right hand.' 28 They will say: "No, you were the ones who would not believe. 29 And we had over you no authority, but ye were a people exorbitant. 30 So on us hath been justified the sentence of our Lord: verily we are to taste. 31 "So we led you astray because we were ourselves astray." 32 So they shall on that day be sharers in the chastisement one with another. 33 As such We shall deal with the evildoers. 34 Whenever it was said to them: “There is no true deity apart from Allah,” they waxed proud 35 and said: 'Are we to renounce our gods for the sake of a mad poet' 36 Nay! he has come with the (very) Truth, and he confirms (the Message of) the messengers (before him). 37 Ye shall indeed taste of the Grievous Penalty;- 38 and not be recompensed, except according to what you were doing.' 39 But Allah's chosen servants (shall be spared this woeful end). 40 Whose provision is predetermined -- 41 Fruits, and they shall be highly honored, 42 In Gardens of Felicity, 43 seated on couches, facing one another. 44 a cup filled with wine from its springs, will be passed around to them; 45 white and delicious to those who drink it, 46 No headiness there shall be therein, nor shall they be therewith inebriated. 47 And with them will be maidens (houris) who restrain their wide glances 48 (Pure) as they were hidden eggs (of the ostrich). 49 They advance one upon another, asking each other questions. 50 The speaker among them said, “I had a companion.” 51 Who used to say: Art thou in truth of those who put faith (in his words)? 52 "'When we die and become dust and bones, shall we indeed receive rewards and punishments?'" 53 (The man) said: "Will you look down?" 54 Then he looks, and sees him in the midst of Hell. 55 He said: "By Allah! You have nearly ruined me. 56 "Had it not been for the Grace of my Lord, I would certainly have been among those brought forth (to Hell)." 57 What then, shall we not die 58 except for our first death? And shall we suffer no chastisement?'” 59 Verily, this - this indeed - is the triumph supreme!" 60 For the like of this, then, let them labour, those who labour [in God's way]! 61 So is this welcome better, or the tree of Zaqqum? 62 which We have made as a test for the wrongdoers. 63 (Zaqqum) is a tree which grows from the deepest part of hell, 64 Its crop is as it were the heads of devils 65 Truly, they will eat thereof and fill their bellies therewith. 66 Then on top of that they will be given a mixture made of boiling water. 67 Then thereafter, verily, their return is to the flaming fire of Hell. 68 Truly they found their fathers on the wrong Path; 69 So they in their footsteps are rushing. 70 Most of the ancient people had also gone astray. 71 And We had already sent among them warners. 72 and behold what happened in the end to those that had been warned [to no avail]! 73 Except the servants of Allah, the purified ones. 74

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
