3/4 Hizb 45

And assuredly Nuh cried unto us; and We are the Best of answerers! 75 We rescued him and his people from the greatest affliction 76 and We made his offspring the only survivors. 77 And We left for him among the posterity. 78 "Peace upon Noah among the worlds." 79 Thus indeed do we reward those who do right. 80 for he was truly one of our believing servants: 81 We drowned the rest. 82 ۞ AND, BEHOLD, of his persuasion was Abraham, too, 83 When he came to his Lord with a free heart, 84 When he said to his father and his people: What is it that you worship? 85 Is it a falsehood - gods beside Allah - that ye desire? 86 What, then, do you think of the Sustainer of all the worlds?" 87 Then he cast a glance at the stars, 88 And he said: verily I am about to be sick. 89 And they turned their backs on him and went away. (The pagans thought he would transmit the disease). 90 Then he turned to their aliha (gods) and said: "Will you not eat (of the offering before you)? 91 What is the matter with you that you do not speak? 92 He struck them with his right hand. 93 Then they advanced toward him, hastening. 94 He answered: "Do you worship something that you [yourselves] have carved, 95 and God created you and what you make?' 96 "Build a pyre for him and throw him into the raging fire." 97 So they plotted a plot against him, but We made them the lowest. 98 And he said: verily I am going to my Lord who will guide me. 99 (And he prayed:) "O Lord, grant me a righteous son." 100 We gave him the good news that he would have a patient, forbearing son. 101 When his son was old enough to work with him, he said, "My son, I have had a dream that I must sacrifice you. What do you think of this?" He replied, "Father, fulfill whatever you are commanded to do and you will find me patient, by the will of God". 102 When they had both submitted to God, and he had laid his son down on his face, 103 We called unto him: O Abraham! 104 thou hast already fulfilled [the purpose of] that dream-vision!" Thus, verily, do We reward the doers of good: 105 Indeed, this was the clear trial. 106 We ransomed him with a great sacrifice, 107 And We left for him among the later folk (the salutation): 108 Peace be upon Abraham. 109 Thus do We reward the doers of good. 110 Surely he was one of Our believing servants. 111 And We gave him the glad tidings of Ishaque (Isaac) a Prophet from the righteous. 112 We had blessed him and Isaac. Some of their offspring were righteous and others were openly unjust to themselves. 113
