The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
By those [angels] lined up in rows 1 and those who drive away [the wicked] with reproof 2 And by oath of the groups that read the Qur’an. 3 your God is One, 4 Lord of the heavens and the earth and whatsoever is in-between the twain, and Lord of the easts. 5 Lo! We have adorned the lowest heaven with an ornament, the planets; 6 (For beauty) and for guard against all obstinate rebellious evil spirits, 7 [so that] they [who seek to learn the unknowable] should not be able to overhear the host on high, but shall be repelled from all sides, 8 Outcast, and theirs is a perpetual torment; 9 Except one who snatches [some words] by theft, but they are pursued by a burning flame, piercing [in brightness]. 10 AND NOW ask those [who deny the truth] to enlighten thee: Were they more difficult to create than all those [untold marvels] that We have created? - for, behold, them have We created out of [mere] clay commingled with water! 11 Nay, you (O Muhammad SAW) wondered (at their insolence) while they mock (at you and at the Quran). 12 and, when reminded, do not remember 13 and whenever they see some sign, they ridicule it, 14 And they say: This is nothing but clear magic: 15 "What! when we die, and become dust and bones, shall we (then) be raised up (again) 16 And also our forefathers? 17 Say thou: "Yea, and ye shall then be humiliated (on account of your evil)." 18 So it shall only be a single cry, when lo! they shall see. 19 and they will say: 'Woe for us. This is the Day of Recompense' 20 (It will be said): "This is the Day of Judgement which you used to deny." 21
