Noah called for help. How blessed was the answer which he received. 75 And We delivered him and his people from the great affliction. 76 and caused his offspring to endure [on earth]; 77 And left (his name) for posterity. 78 Peace be upon Noah among all the peoples! 79 As such We recompense the gooddoers, 80 he was among Our believing servants. 81 Then We drowned the others 82 ۞ And most surely Ibrahim followed his way. 83 When he came to his Lord with a pure heart [attached to Allah Alone and none else, worshipping none but Allah Alone true Islamic Monotheism, pure from the filth of polytheism]. 84 When he said to his father (paternal uncle) and his people, “What do you worship?” 85 Why do you solicit false gods instead of God? 86 what, then, is your opinion of the Lord of the worlds? 87 Then he looked carefully at the stars 88 Then said: Lo! I feel sick! 89 So turning their backs, they went away from him. 90 Then did he turn to their gods and said, "will ye not eat (of the offerings before you)?... 91 What is amiss with you that you do not speak?" 92 He then began striking them with his right hand, unseen by the people. 93 Then they (the worshippers of idols) came, towards him, hastening. 94 He said, "Do you worship that which you [yourselves] carve, 95 While Allah created you and that which you do?" 96 They said, "Let us build a fire and throw him into the flames". 97 They had contrived an evil plan against him, but We abased them all. 98 And he said (after his rescue from the fire): "Verily, I am going to my Lord. He will guide me!" 99 My Lord, grant me a righteous (son)' 100 So We gave him the good news of a clement son. 101 And when he attained to working with him, he said: O my son! surely I have seen in a dream that I should sacrifice you; consider then what you see. He said: O my father! do what you are commanded; if Allah please, you will find me of the patient ones. 102 Then (remember) when they both submitted to Allah’s command, and Ibrahim lay his son facing downwards. (The knife did not hurt Ismail) 103 We called out: "O Abraham, 104 thou hast confirmed the vision; even so We recompense the good-doers. 105 It was certainly an open trial. 106 And We ransomed him with a great sacrifice (i.e. a ram); 107 and We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon him in the latter (generations), 108 Peace be on Ibrahim. 109 Thus do We reward the good. 110 Indeed, he was of Our believing servants. 111 And We gave him the glad tidings of Ishaque (Isaac) a Prophet from the righteous. 112 And We blessed him and Isaac. Among their descendants are some who do good, but some who wrong themselves. 113
