Al-Saaffaat 4 of 5
We certainly bestowed Our favor upon Moses and Aaron 114 and We saved them and their people from the awesome calamity [of bondage,] 115 We succoured them, and they gained the upper hand (against their enemies). 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture 117 And We guided them both on the right way. 118 And We left for them [favorable mention] among later generations: 119 Peace be on Moses and Aaron. 120 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 121 Surely they were both of Our believing servants. 122 Verily Elias is one of the apostles. 123 (Call to mind) when he said to his people: “Will you not fear Allah? 124 "Will ye call upon Baal and forsake the Best of Creators,- 125 who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 They denied him, and will surely be brought to punishment, 127 Except the chosen slaves of Allah. 128 And we left for him among the later folk (the salutation): 129 Peace be on Elias. 130 That is how We reward those who do good. 131 Verily, he was one of Our believing slaves. 132 And Lot too was one of the Messengers. 133 Recall what time We delivered him and his household, all. 134 Except an old woman (his wife) who was among those who remained behind. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 You pass by (their habitations) in the morning 137 and at night. Do you still not understand? 138
