Verily We bestowed Our favours on Moses and Aaron 114 and We saved them with their nation from a great distress. 115 We helped them and they were victorious. 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture; 117 and guided them upon the Straight Path. 118 And We left for them [favorable mention] among later generations: 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 121 Indeed they are two of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 122 And Ilyas was most surely of the apostles. 123 He said to his people, "Have you no fear [of God?] 124 Will you invoke Baal and forsake [God,] the best of artisans 125 God, your Sustainer and the Sustainer of your forebears of old?" 126 Then they belied him, so verily they are to be brought up. 127 But not the servants of Allah, the purified ones. 128 And We left for him [favorable mention] among later generations: 129 Peace be with the followers of Elias. 130 Verily, thus do We reward the doers of good 131 for he was truly one of Our believing servants! 132 Verily Lot was one of the apostles, 133 (Call to mind) when We delivered him and all his kinsfolk, 134 except an old woman who lingered, 135 Then We totally destroyed the others. 136 And indeed you pass over them in the morning. – 137 and night: will you not take heed? 138
