Again (of old) We bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron, 114 We saved them and their people from great distress; 115 and succoured them, so that [in the end] it was they who achieved victory. 116 And We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 And showed them the straight path, 118 And We kept their praise among the latter generations. 119 'Peace be upon Moses and, Aaron!' 120 This is how We reward those who do good: 121 They were among Our believing worshipers. 122 And verily, llyas was one of the sent ones. 123 When he said to his people: "Will you not fear Allah? 124 "Will you call upon Ba'l (a well- known idol of his nation whom they used to worship) and forsake the Best of creators, 125 who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they rejected him, and they will certainly be called up (for punishment),- 127 except the chosen servants of God. 128 And We left for him (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 129 Peace be unto Elias! 130 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 131 Indeed, he was of Our believing servants. 132 And verily Lut was of the sent ones. 133 Wherefore We saved him and his entire family 134 except for an old woman who remained behind. 135 and then We utterly destroyed the others: 136 You pass by (their habitations) in the morning 137 And at night; will you not then reflect? 138
