THUS, INDEED, did We bestow Our favour upon Moses and Aaron; 114 and We saved them with their nation from a great distress. 115 We helped them and they were victorious. 116 We gave them the explicit Book, 117 guided them to the right path, 118 and left for them among the later folk 119 Peace be on Musa and Haroun. 120 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 121 Indeed, they were of Our believing servants. 122 And verily, Iliyas (Elias) was one of the Messengers. 123 Behold, he said to his people, "Will ye not fear (Allah)? 124 Will ye cry unto Baal and forsake the Best of creators, 125 God, your Sustainer and the Sustainer of your forebears of old?" 126 But they cried him lies; so they will be among the arraigned, 127 Except the chosen servants of Allah. 128 And We left (this blessing) for him among generations (to come) in later times: 129 "Peace upon Elias." 130 That is how We reward those who do good. 131 Indeed, he was of Our believing servants. 132 And indeed, Lot was among the messengers. 133 (Call to mind) when We delivered him and all his kinsfolk, 134 except for an old woman who was among those that stayed behind. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 You pass by their ruins morning 137 And at night. Then will you not use reason? 138
