And We did certainly confer favor upon Moses and Aaron. 114 And We saved them and their people from the great distress; 115 and We helped them, so that they were victorious; 116 And We vouchsafed unto the twain a Book luminous. 117 and guided them the straight way, 118 and left for them among the later folk 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 That is how We reward those who do good. 121 for those two were truly among Our believing servants. 122 So also was Elias among those sent (by Us). 123 when he spoke [thus] to his people: "Will you not remain conscious of God? 124 Do you call upon Baal and forsake the Best of the Creators? 125 God your Lord and Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they denounced him as a liar, so they will surely be arraigned (for punishment), 127 except for God's sincere servants; 128 And we left for him among the later folk (the salutation): 129 "Peace be on Elijah and his people!" 130 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 131 Lo! he is one of our believing slaves. 132 Lot, too, was among the Messengers. 133 When We rescued him and his entire household. 134 Save an old woman among those who stayed behind; 135 and We destroyed the rest. 136 You pass by their desolate habitations in the morning 137 and at night. Do you still not understand? 138
