And We did certainly confer favor upon Moses and Aaron. 114 and We saved them with their nation from a great distress. 115 And helped them, so they were victorious. 116 And We gave them the divine writ that made [right and wrong] distinct, 117 And We led the twain on unto the straight path. 118 And We left for them [favorable mention] among later generations: 119 'Peace be upon Moses and, Aaron!' 120 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 121 truly they were among Our faithful servants. 122 And verily, Iliyas (Elias) was one of the Messengers. 123 when he said to his people, 'Will you not be godfearing? 124 “What! You worship Baal (an idol) and leave the Best Creator?” – 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers?" 126 But they denied him, so they surely will be haled forth (to the doom) 127 except the sincere worshipers of Allah. 128 And We left for him [favorable mention] among later generations: 129 Peace be upon Elias. 130 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 131 he was among Our believing servants. 132 And verily, Lout (Lot) was one of the Messengers. 133 We saved him and all his kinsmen, 134 Except an old woman who was among those who lagged behind: 135 Then We utterly destroyed the rest of them. 136 And indeed, you pass by them in the morning 137 and at night.
