We indeed created man; and We know what his soul whispers within him, and We are nearer to him than the jugular vein. 16 When the two Receivers receive (him), seated on the right hand and on the left, 17 He utters not a word but there is by him a watcher at hand. 18 And when the agony of death comes in truth (they will say): 'This is what you have been trying to avoid' 19 And the Trumpet will be blown, that will be the Day whereof warning (had been given) (i.e. the Day of Resurrection). 20 And there will come forth every soul: with each will be an (angel) to drive, and an (angel) to bear witness. 21 (And the driver will say:) "You were oblivious of this, so we have removed the veil, and how keen is your sight today!" 22 And his companion (angel) will say: "Here is (this Record) ready with me!" 23 Do cast into hell every ungrateful, rebellious one, 24 Hinderer of good, transgressor, doubter, 25 "Who set up another god beside Allah: Throw him into a severe penalty." 26 ۞ His companion will say: "O Lord, I did not lead him to wickedness, but he was himself far astray." 27 He will say, “Do not dispute before Me – I had already warned you of the punishment.” 28 No word is to be exchanged in My presence. I am not unjust to My servants". 29
