We were indeed gracious to Moses and Aaron, 114 and saved them and their people from great distress. 115 We helped them and they were victorious. 116 And We gave them the explicit Scripture, 117 And guided them to the Right Path; 118 And We left for them (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 119 Salamun (peace) be upon Musa (Moses) and Harun (Aaron)!" 120 Verily, thus do We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers - see V. 2:112). 121 They were two of Our believing servants. 122 And verily, llyas was one of the sent ones. 123 He asked his people: 'Do you not fear (Allah)? 124 “What! You worship Baal (an idol) and leave the Best Creator?” 125 who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they gave him the lie: and therefore they will most surely be arraigned [on Judgment Day,] 127 except the sincere servants of God. 128 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon him in the latter (generations), 129 Peace be upon Elias. 130 In this way do We reward the righteous ones. 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 Verily Lot was one of the apostles, 133 Wherefore We saved him and his entire family 134 except for an old woman who was among those that stayed behind. 135 then We destroyed the others, 136 Verily, you pass by them in the morning. 137 and at night. Will you then not understand? 138
