And assuredly the dwellers of Hijr belied the sent ones. 80 We brought them Our signs, and they turned away from them. 81 They hewed their dwellings out of the mountains in safety. 82 But they were seized by the mighty blast towards the morning; 83 And all that they had done (for security) availed them nothing. 84 And We created not the heavens and the earth and all that is between them except with truth, and the Hour is surely coming, so overlook (O Muhammad SAW), their faults with gracious forgiveness. [This was before the ordainment of Jihad holy fighting in Allah's Cause]. 85 Surely your Lord is the Creator of all things, the Knowing. 86 We have indeed given you the seven oft-repeated (examples), and the majestic Qur'an. 87 Cast not thine eyes toward that which We have let classes of them to enjoy; and grieve not over them, and lower thy wing unto the believers. 88 And say: "I am a distinct warner," 89 So We sent it down to the partitioners, 90 Those who have made the scripture bits. 91 by your Lord, We shall question them all 92 About what they used to do. 93 (O Prophet), proclaim what you are commanded, and pay no heed to those who associate others with Allah in His Divinity. 94 Verily We will suffice unto thee against the mockers. 95 Those who adopt, with Allah, another god: but soon will they come to know. 96 Indeed, We know your chest is straitened by that they say. 97 So glorify the praises of your Lord and be of those who prostrate themselves (to Him). 98 Worship your Lord till the certainty (death) comes to you. 99
