We also favoured Moses and Aaron, 114 and We delivered both of them and their people from the great calamity. 115 And helped them, so that they became the victors; 116 and We gave them the Manifesting Book, 117 And We guided them both on the right way. 118 And We left (this blessing) for them among generations (to come) in later times: 119 Salamun (peace) be upon Musa (Moses) and Harun (Aaron)!" 120 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 121 Surely both of them were among Our believing servants. 122 And indeed Ilyas is one of the Noble Messengers. 123 He told his people, "Why do you not have fear of God? 124 Do you call on Baal and abandon the Best of Creators, 125 “Allah – Who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?” 126 But they denied him, so they surely will be haled forth (to the doom) 127 except the sincere servants of God. 128 We preserved a good name for him among posterity. 129 Peace be on Ilyas. 130 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 131 Surely he was one of Our believing servants. 132 And verily Lut was of the sent ones. 133 We saved him and all his kinsmen, 134 except an old woman who was among those that stayed behind; 135 We then destroyed the others. 136 And most surely you pass by them in the morning, 137 and at night, will you not understand? 138
