THUS, INDEED, did We bestow Our favour upon Moses and Aaron; 114 We saved them and their people from great distress; 115 and We helped them, so that they were victorious; 116 And We gave them the divine writ that made [right and wrong] distinct, 117 And guided them to the Straight Path. 118 And We left for them among the later folk (the salutation): 119 Peace be on Moses and Aaron. 120 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 121 for those two were truly among Our believing servants. 122 Elias too was one of the Envoys; 123 When he said to his people: "Will you not be mindful of God? 124 Will you invoke Baal and forsake [God,] the best of artisans 125 “Allah – Who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?” 126 They called him a liar. Thus, all of them will suffer torment 127 Except the sincere and devoted Servants of Allah (among them). 128 And We left for him among the posterity: 129 "Peace be upon Elijah and his followers!" 130 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 131 he was among Our believing servants. 132 And verily Lut was of the sent ones. 133 When We saved him and his family, all, 134 except for an old woman who was among those that stayed behind. 135 Then We destroyed the rest. 136 You pass by their desolate habitations in the morning 137 and in the night; will you not understand? 138
