And assuredly We gave grace unto Musa and Harun. 114 We saved them and their people from great distress; 115 We succoured them, and they gained the upper hand (against their enemies). 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture 117 And We guided them on the straight path. 118 and We left them thus to be succeeded by a group [of followers] among later generations: 119 Peace be upon Moosa and Haroon! 120 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 121 truly they were among Our faithful servants. 122 Elias too was one of the Envoys; 123 When he said to his people: "Will you not fear Allah? 124 What! do you call upon Ba'l and forsake the best of the creators, 125 God, your Sustainer and the Sustainer of your forebears of old?" 126 Then they belied him, so verily they are to be brought up. 127 Except the chosen bondmen of Allah. 128 And We left for him among the posterity: 129 Peace be on Ilyas. 130 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 131 He was among Our believing worshipers. 132 Lot was certainly a Messenger. 133 [So mention] when We saved him and his family, all, 134 Save an old woman among the lingerers. 135 Then We annihilated the others. 136 You pass by (their ruined town) in the morning 137 And at night; do you not then understand? 138
