Again (of old) We bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron, 114 and We saved them and their people from the awesome calamity [of bondage,] 115 And We helped them, so they were victorious. 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture 117 and guided them the straight way, 118 And We left (this blessing) for them among generations (to come) in later times: 119 Peace be upon Moses and Aaron. 120 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 121 Verily! They were two of Our believing slaves. 122 Elias was certainly a Messenger. 123 He asked his people: 'Do you not fear (Allah)? 124 Will you invoke Baal and forsake [God,] the best of artisans 125 "Allah, your Lord and Cherisher and the Lord and Cherisher of your fathers of old?" 126 But they called him a liar, therefore they shall most surely be brought up. 127 except the sincere worshipers of Allah. 128 And We left for him [favorable mention] among later generations: 129 Peace be upon Ilyas! 130 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 131 he was among Our believing servants. 132 Lot was certainly a Messenger. 133 when We delivered him and his people all together, 134 except an old woman who lingered, 135 then We destroyed the others, 136 And indeed you pass over them in the morning. – 137 and at night. Will you then not understand? 138
