And, indeed We gave Our Grace to Musa (Moses) and Harun (Aaron). 114 We saved them and their people from great distress; 115 We succoured them, and they gained the upper hand (against their enemies). 116 and We gave them the Clear Book, 117 And showed them the right path. 118 And We left for the twain among the posterity: 119 Peace be unto Musa and Harun. 120 Verily, thus do We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers - see V. 2:112). 121 they were among Our believing servants. 122 And Elias (El Yaseen) was among the Messengers. 123 When he said to his people: "Will you not be mindful of God? 124 What! do you call upon Ba'l and forsake the best of the creators, 125 “Allah – Who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?” 126 But they denied him, so they surely will be haled forth (to the doom) 127 Except the chosen servants of Allah. 128 and We left for him among the later folk 129 Peace be unto Elias! 130 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 131 He is indeed one of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 132 Lot was also one of the messengers. 133 [So mention] when We saved him and his family, all, 134 except for an old woman who was among those that stayed behind. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 And indeed, you pass by them in the morning 137 And by night: will ye not understand? 138
