And We did certainly confer favor upon Moses and Aaron. 114 and We delivered them and their people from the great distress. 115 And helped them, so they were victorious. 116 We gave them the explicit Book, 117 and guided them upon the Straight Path. 118 And We kept their praise among the latter generations. 119 'Peace be upon Moses and, Aaron!' 120 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 121 Lo! they are two of Our believing slaves. 122 Elias was certainly a Messenger. 123 When he said to his people, “Do you not fear?” 124 Do you call on Baal and abandon the Best of Creators, 125 who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 They denied him, and will surely be brought to punishment, 127 Except the chosen slaves of Allah. 128 We perpetuated his praise in the later generations. 129 Peace be unto Elyasin. 130 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 131 he was among Our believing servants. 132 And Lot too was one of the Messengers. 133 [and so,] when [We decreed the doom of his sinful town,] We saved him and his household, 134 Save an old woman among the lingerers. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 and, verily, [to this day] you pass by the remnants of their dwellings at morning-time 137 and at night. Will you then not understand? 138

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
