Hizb 46
< random >
Jonah was certainly a Messenger. 139 Recall what time he ran away unto a laden ship. 140 And then they cast lots and he was the one who lost, 141 Then the fish swallowed him, while he was blameworthy. 142 And had he not been of those who exalt Allah, 143 he would indeed have remained in its belly till the Day when all shall be raised from the dead: 144 ۞ So We cast him, sick, on a barren shore, 145 And We grew a tree of gourd (as a shelter) above him. 146 And We sent him (on a mission) to a hundred thousand (men) or more. 147 So they accepted faith We therefore gave them usage for a while. 148 Now ask them their opinion: Is it that thy Lord has (only) daughters, and they have sons?- 149 Or did We create the angels females while they were witnesses? 150 Pay heed! It is their slander that they say. 151 "God has begotten [a son]"; and verily, they are lying [too, when they say,] 152 Has He chosen daughters above sons? 153 What is the matter with you that you make such strange judgements? 154 Will ye not then be admonished? 155 Or, do you have a clear authority? 156 Then bring your Book if you are truthful! 157 They assert kinship between Him and the angels. But the angels know that they (the liars) will be arraigned (in Hell). 158 Exaltations to Allah above what they describe, 159 Except the chosen servants of Allah [who do not share in that sin]. 160 Wherefore verily neither ye nor that which ye worship, 161 Can tempt anyone to rebel against Him. 162 Except he who is to [enter and] burn in the Hellfire. 163 (Gabriel said to the Prophet): 'Each of us has a known place. 164 And verily we! we are ranged in ranks. 165 Verily, we (angels), we are they who glorify (Allah's Praises i.e. perform prayers). 166 Even though they (unbelievers) say, 167 "If we had a message from [those of] the former peoples, 168 we would surely have been God's chosen servants," 169 But they disbelieved in it; soon they shall know! 170 Already Our Word has preceded to Our servants, the Envoys; 171 That verily they! they shall be made triumphant. 172 And that certainly Our armies will be victorious. 173 Therefore turn away from them for some time. 174 and see them [for what they are]; and in time they [too] will come to see [what they do not see now]. 175 What, do they seek to hasten Our chastisement? 176 Then, when it descends into their courtyard (i.e. near to them), evil will be the morning for those who had been warned! 177 So turn thou away from them for a little while, 178 and see, soon they shall see! 179 Your Lord, the Lord of Honor, is too exalted to be considered as they describe Him. 180 So peace be on the messengers, 181 And Praise to Allah, the Lord and Cherisher of the Worlds. 182
God the Almighty always says the truth.
End of Surah: The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat). Sent down in Mecca after Animals (Al-An 'aam) before Luqmaan (Luqmaan)

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
عند قراءة القرآن الملون على الأجهزة المحمولة أو الأجهزة اللوحية، يمكنك تدوير الشاشة لتكبير النص أو تصغيره.
When reading ColorfulQuran.com on mobile or tablet devices, you may rotate the screen to enlarge or reduce the script.
اقرأ القرآن الكريم كله ملونا بالكامل، حيث تولد ألوان وأشكال الصفحات بشكل عشوائي تماما بحيث لا يتكرر التركيب نفسه مرتين.
Read the entire Holy Quran in full color, where pages randomly generate their colors and shapes so that the same scheme never repeats twice.
