Lo, the Tree of Ez-Zakkoum 43 is food for the sinner. 44 Like boiling oil, it will boil in the bellies, 45 like the boiling of hot water. 46 [A voice will cry], "Seize him and drag him into the midst of Hell. 47 then pour over his head the anguish of burning despair! 48 (Saying): 'Taste, surely you are the mighty and noble! 49 This is certainly what you had denied." 50 Verily! The Muttaqun (pious - see V. 2:2), will be in place of Security (Paradise). 51 In Gardens and water-springs. 52 Attired in silk and brocade, they shall be arrayed face to face. 53 Thus (shall it be), and We will wed them with Houris pure, beautiful ones. 54 They will call for every kind of fruit with satisfaction. 55 There they will not know any death apart from the first death they had died, and will be kept safe from the torment of Hell 56 a bounty from thy Lord; that is the mighty triumph. 57 We have now made it easy on your tongue, in order that they remember. 58 Wait then; they too are waiting. 59
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
End of Surah: Smoke (Al-Dukhaan). Sent down in Mecca after Vanity (Al-Zukhruf) before Kneeling (Al-Jaatheyah)
