And warnings came in truth unto the house of Pharaoh 41 They rejected all Our communications, so We overtook them after the manner of a Mighty, Powerful One. 42 Are your disbelievers better than they were, or have you been given exemption in the Books? 43 Or they say, “We shall all take revenge as a group.” 44 The group will soon be routed, and will turn their backs to flee. 45 Aye! the Hour is their appointed term, and the Hour shall be far more grievous and far more bitter. 46 The evil-doers are indeed sunk in error and folly -- 47 The day when they are dragged on their faces into the Fire: 'Taste now the touch of Sakar!' 48 Surely We have created everything in measure. 49 Our commandment is but one word, as the twinkling of an eye. 50 And assuredly We have destroyed your likes; so is there any one who shall be admonished? 51 All things they do are (recorded) in the books; 52 And everything, small and big is written (in Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz already beforehand i.e. before it befalls, or is done by its doer) (See the Quran V. 57:22). 53 Indeed the pious are amidst Gardens and springs. 54 in a sure abode, in the presence of a King Omnipotent. 55
