Hizb 46
< random >
And indeed Yunus is one of the Noble Messengers. 139 He ran away to the laden ship, 140 Then lots were drawn and he became of those who were pushed into the sea. 141 And a fish swallowed him, and he was reproaching himself. 142 and had he not been among those who exalt (Allah), 143 he would certainly have remained inside the fish till the Day of Resurrection. 144 ۞ Then We cast him on a desert shore while he was sick; 145 And We grew a tree of gourd (as a shelter) above him. 146 and We sent him forth to a nation of a hundred thousand or more, 147 So they accepted faith We therefore gave them usage for a while. 148 Now ask them (O Muhammad): Hath thy Lord daughters whereas they have sons? 149 Or did We create the angels females while they were witnesses? 150 Unquestionably, it is out of their [invented] falsehood that they say, 151 That “Allah has offspring”; and indeed, surely, they are liars. 152 Has He (then) chosen daughters rather than sons? 153 What is the matter with you? How do you judge? 154 Will ye not then be admonished? 155 Or is there for you a plain authority? 156 Then bring your book, if you are truthful. 157 They claim that He has kinship with the jinn, yet the jinn themselves know that they will be produced before Him [for judgement]. 158 Hallowed be Allah from that which they ascribe to Him. 159 Save single-minded slaves of Allah. 160 So surely you and what you worship, 161 you shall tempt none against Him 162 Except such as are (themselves) going to the blazing Fire! 163 And there is none of us but has an assigned place, 164 “And indeed we, with our wings spread, await the command.” 165 And we are most surely they who declare the glory (of Allah). 166 And indeed the disbelievers used to say, 167 "If we had had with us a Book like that of the people of old, 168 we would surely have been Allah's chosen servants.” 169 They therefore denied it, so they will soon come to know. 170 Already has Our Word been passed before (this) to our Servants sent (by Us), 171 that, verily, they - they indeed - would be succoured, 172 and that Our army will be triumphant. 173 So, [O Muhammad], leave them for a time. 174 And watch, for they will (soon) see. 175 What, do they seek to hasten Our chastisement? 176 But when it cometh home to them, then it will be a hapless morn for those who have been warned. 177 So turn (O Muhammad SAW) away from them for a while, 178 and see, soon they shall see! 179 Glory to thy Lord, the Lord of Honour and Power! (He is free) from what they ascribe (to Him)! 180 Peace be on the Messengers. 181 and all praise be to Allah, the Lord of the Universe. 182
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
End of Surah: The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat). Sent down in Mecca after Animals (Al-An 'aam) before Luqmaan (Luqmaan)
