▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ But nay! I swear by the falling of stars; 75 And indeed, it is an oath - if you could know - [most] great. 76 Behold, it is a truly noble discourse, 77 in a well-guarded preserved Book, 78 Which none toucheth save the purified, 79 It has been revealed by the Lord of all the worlds. 80 How can you regard this discourse with disdain? 81 You live by calling it a lie. 82 Wherefore then - when the soul cometh up to the wind-pipe 83 And you are at that time looking on - 84 And We are nigher unto him than ye are, but ye behold not 85 if you are not subject to anyone's authority, 86 do you not restore his soul, if you are truthful? 87 Then if the dying one is of those having proximity, – 88 there shall be calmness and ease, a Garden of Delight. 89 And if he (the dying person) be of those on the Right Hand, 90 he will be greeted with, "Peace be to you," by those on the Right. 91 And if he be of those who treat (Truth) as Falsehood, who go wrong, 92 a welcome of burning despair [awaits him in the life to come,] 93 And burning in hell. 94 This is indeed the indubitable truth. 95 Therefore glorify the name of your Lord, the Great. 96
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
