Hizb 46

So also was Jonah among those sent (by Us). 139 When he ran away (like a slave from captivity) to the ship (fully) laden, 140 And lots were cast (when a storm overtook them), he was rejected, (and thrown overboard). 141 The fish then swallowed him and he blamed himself. (For not waiting for Allah’s command.) 142 And were he not one of those who praise. 143 He would have tarried in the belly thereof till the Day when they are raised. 144 ۞ But We caused him to be cast forth on to the beach, sick as he was, 145 And We caused to grow over him a gourd vine. 146 And [then] We sent him [once again] to [his people,] a hundred thousand [souls] or more: 147 And they believed; so We permitted them to enjoy (their life) for a while. 148 So inquire of them, [O Muhammad], "Does your Lord have daughters while they have sons? 149 Or did We create the angels females while they were witnesses? 150 Oh, verily, it is out of their own [inclination to] falsehood that some people assert, 151 "God has begotten (children)?" They are liars indeed! 152 Has He (then) chosen daughters rather than sons? 153 Woe to you! How terrible is your Judgment. 154 Will ye not then receive admonition? 155 Or, is there for you a clear warranty 156 Then produce your writ, if ye are truthful. 157 And they have appointed a relationship between Him and the jinns; and indeed the jinns surely know that they will be brought forth. 158 God is too glorious to be described as they describe Him 159 except for God's sincere servants. 160 You and whatever you worship 161 You cannot tempt [anyone] away from Him 162 Except those who are predestined to burn in Hell! 163 Of us there is none but hath a station assigned. 164 “And indeed we, with our wings spread, await the command.” 165 and we are of those who glorify Allah.” 166 And they surely were wont to say: 167 “If we had some advice from the earlier generations,” 168 we would have been sincere worshipers of Allah' 169 They have rejected the Quran. They will soon know the consequences (of their disbelief). 170 And indeed Our Word has already gone forth for Our bondmen who were sent. 171 that it is certainly they who will be helped; 172 And that Our hosts, they verily would be the victors. 173 So, (O Prophet), leave them alone for a while, 174 and see them; soon they shall see! 175 Do they seek to hasten on Our Torment? 176 Then, when it descends into their courtyard (i.e. near to them), evil will be the morning for those who had been warned! 177 And leave them for a time. 178 And wait, for they will soon see. 179 Too glorious is your Lord, the Lord of power, for what they ascribe to Him. 180 And peace be unto those sent (to warn). 181 And praise belongs to Allah, Lord of the Worlds. 182
God the Almighty always says the truth.
End of Surah: The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat). Sent down in Mecca after Animals (Al-An 'aam) before Luqmaan (Luqmaan)

ColorfulQuran.com displays pages in one of three Arabic fonts. Each may appear with a one-third chance, adding more diversity to the already diverse colors. And the words remain unchanged forever. ColorfulQuran.com will have more beautiful fonts soon, God willing.
