And We have not created the heaven and the earth and whatsoever is in-between the twain in vain. That is the opinion of those who disbelieve. And woe unto those who disbelieve from the Fire. 27 Are We to make those who believe and do good works the same as those who corrupt the earth? Are We to make the righteous as the wicked? 28 A Book We have sent down to thee, Blessed, that men possessed of minds may ponder its signs and so remember. 29 And We bestowed Sulaiman to Dawud; what an excellent bondman! He is indeed most inclined. 30 When the noble galloping horses were displayed to him one evening, 31 he said: “Lo! I have come to love this wealth on account of the remembrance of my Lord.” And when the horses disappeared, 32 "Bring them back to me," and he began to rub and stroke their shanks and necks. 33 And, indeed We did try Sulaiman (Solomon) and We placed on his throne Jasadan (a devil, so he lost his kingdom for a while) but he did return (to his throne and kingdom by the Grace of Allah and he did return) to Allah with obedience and in repentance. 34 He said: "My Lord! Forgive me, and bestow upon me a kingdom such as shall not belong to any other after me: Verily, You are the Bestower." 35 So We subjected to him the wind blowing by his command, gently, wherever he directed, 36 and the Satans, every builder and diver 37 And others bound in fetters. 38 "Such are Our Bounties: whether thou bestow them (on others) or withhold them, no account will be asked." 39 And he has a place near to Us, and a fine return. 40
