And remember Our servant Ayyub, when he called upon his Lord: The Shaitan has afflicted me with toil and torment. 41 (And it was said unto him): Strike the ground with thy foot. This (spring) is a cool bath and a refreshing drink. 42 And We gave him (back) his family, and along with them the like thereof, as a Mercy from Us, and a Reminder for those who understand. 43 "And take in your hand a bundle of thin grass and strike therewith (your wife), and break not your oath. Truly! We found him patient. How excellent (a) slave! Verily, he was ever oft-returning in repentance (to Us)! 44 And remember Our slaves, Ibrahim (Abraham), Ishaque (Isaac), and Ya'qub (Jacob), (all) owners of strength (in worshipping Us) and (also) of religious understanding. 45 We gave them this pure distinction because of their continual remembrance of the Day of Judgment. 46 and in Our sight they are of the chosen, the excellent. 47 And make mention of Ishmael and Elisha and Dhu'l-Kifl. All are of the chosen. 48 This is a Reminder, and indeed for the cautious is a fine return, 49 Everlasting Gardens – all its gates are open for them. 50 Therein they will recline; therein they will call for fruits in abundance and drinks; 51 ۞ And with them are the pure spouses, who do not set gaze upon men except their husbands, of single age. 52 This it is that ye are promised for the Day of Reckoning. 53 Our provision for you will never be exhausted. 54 This is so! And for the Taghun (transgressors, disobedient to Allah and His Messenger - disbelievers in the Oneness of Allah, criminals, etc.), will be an evil final return (Fire), 55 Hell, where they will be roasted. An evil place to dwell! 56 Here is a boiling and an ice-cold draught, so let them taste it, 57 And other (punishment) of the same kind-- of various sorts. 58 [And they will say to one another: "Do you see] this crowd of people who rushed headlong [into sin] with you? No welcome to them! Verily, they [too] shall have to endure the fire!" 59 They will say to them, "You are not welcome! It was you who brought this on us, an evil place to stay," 60 They say: Our Lord! Whoever did prepare this for us, oh, give him double portion of the Fire! 61 And they will Say: what aileth us that we behold not men whom we were wont to count among the evil ones? 62 and whom we mocked? Have they been rescued or can our eyes not find them?" 63 Lo! that is very truth: the wrangling of the dwellers in the Fire. 64
