And remember Our servant Ayyub, when he called upon his Lord: The Shaitan has afflicted me with toil and torment. 41 Urge with your foot; here is a cool washing-place and a drink. 42 And We gave him (back) his people, and doubled their number,- as a Grace from Ourselves, and a thing for commemoration, for all who have Understanding. 43 "Take a handful of herbs," (We said to him), and apply and rub them, and do not make a mistake." We found him patient in adversity, an excellent devotee, always turning in repentance. 44 And make mention of Our bondmen, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, men of parts and vision. 45 Lo! We purified them with a pure thought, remembrance of the Home (of the Hereafter). 46 and, in Our sight they were indeed among the select, the truly good! 47 Also, remember our worshipers Ishmael, Elisha, and ThulKifl, they are among the good. 48 LET [all] this be a reminder [to those who believe in God] - for, verily, the most beauteous of all goals awaits the God-conscious: 49 Gardens of Eden with gates open wide to them, 50 Therein they will recline; therein they will call for fruits in abundance and drinks; 51 ۞ And with them will be women limiting [their] glances and of equal age. 52 Such is the Promise made, to you for the Day of Account! 53 Indeed this is Our sustenance, which will never end. 54 This (for the virtuous); but for the transgressors the evil destination, 55 Hell, in which they will burn. How vile a resting place! 56 This - so let them taste it - is scalding water and [foul] purulence. 57 And similar other punishments in pairs. 58 This is a troop entering with you (in Hell), no welcome for them! Verily, they shall burn in the Fire! 59 They say, 'No, it is you have no Welcome; you forwarded it for us; how evil a stablishment!' 60 adding, "Our Lord, give double punishment to those who brought this upon us." 61 But why is it that we cannot see men whom we had considered as wicked 62 [and] whom we made the target of our derision? Or are they here, and our eyes have missed them?" 63 All this is certainly true -- the inhabitants of the Fire will blame one another in this way. 64
