Say thou: I am but warner, and there is no god but Allah, the One, the Subduer. 65 He is the Lord of the heavens, the earth, and all that is between them, the Majestic and All-forgiving". 66 Say: "That (this Quran) is a great news, 67 but you have turned away from it. 68 I had no knowledge of the higher Assembly when they discussed it among themselves. 69 'Only this has been revealed to me: that I am to give warning plainly and publicly." 70 Your Lord said to the angels, "I am about to create a human being out of clay; 71 after I have shaped him and breathed of My spirit (I created) into him, fall down prostrate before him' 72 So the angels prostrated themselves, all of them together: 73 except iblis (satan, the father of the jinn), he became too proud, for he was one of the unbelievers. 74 [Allah] said, "O Iblees, what prevented you from prostrating to that which I created with My hands? Were you arrogant [then], or were you [already] among the haughty?" 75 He said: "I am better than he. You created me from fire, and him from clay." 76 'Begone' said He, 'you are stoned'. 77 'My curse shall rest on you until the Day of Recompense' 78 Said he, 'My Lord, respite me till the day they shall be raised.' 79 (Allah) said: "Verily! You are of those allowed respite 80 "Till the Day of the time appointed." 81 He said: "By Your authority, I will lead them astray, 82 Save Thy bondmen among them Sincere. 83 [And God] said: "This, then, is the truth! And this truth do I state: 84 Most certainly will I fill hell with thee and such of them as shall follow thee, all together!" 85 Say: 'I ask of you no wage for it, neither am I of those who take things upon themselves. 86 "It (this Quran) is only a Reminder for all the 'Alamin (mankind and jinns). 87 and after a while you shall know its news' 88
