The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ Magnify the Name of thy Lord the Most High 1 who has created and shaped, 2 And Who makes (things) according to a measure, then guides (them to their goal), 3 and who brings forth herbage, 4 then turns it into black stubble. 5 We shall make you recite and then you will not forget, 6 Except what Allah, may will, He knows what is apparent and what is hidden. 7 We shall ease you to the easy. 8 Therefore remind (men) in case the reminder profits (them). 9 Those who have fear of God will benefit 10 But the wretched one will avoid it - 11 Who will enter the Great Fire, 12 In which he will neither die nor live. 13 Surely he will succeed who grows in goodness, 14 and remembers the Name of his Lord, so he prays. 15 But ye prefer the life of this world, 16 Though the life to come is better and abiding. 17 Most surely this is in the earlier scriptures, 18 the Scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
