The Bee (Al-nahl)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ Allah's commandment has come, therefore do not desire to hasten it; glory be to Him, and highly exalted be He above what they associate (with Him). 1 He doth send down His angels with inspiration of His Command, to such of His servants as He pleaseth, (saying): "Warn (Man) that there is no god but I: so do your duty unto Me." 2 He has created the heavens and the earth for just ends: Far is He above having the partners they ascribe to Him! 3 He created man out of a [mere] drop of sperm: yet he shows himself to be openly contentious! 4 And He creates cattle: you derive warmth from them, and [various other] uses; and from them you obtain food; 5 And in them is your elegance, when you bring them home at evening, and when you leave them to graze. 6 They carry your burdens to lands so distant you could not have reached without much hardship. Indeed your Lord is compassionate and kind. 7 And (He has created) horses, mules and donkeys, for you to ride and as an adornment. And He creates (other) things of which you have no knowledge. 8 And unto Allah leads straight the Way, but there are ways that turn aside: if Allah had willed, He could have guided all of you. 9
