Say, [Prophet], "I am only a warner. There is no god but God, the One, the All-Powerful, 65 “Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them – the Almighty, the Oft Forgiving.” 66 Say, “That is a great tidings.” 67 Whence ye turn away! 68 “What did I know of the heavenly world, when the angels had disputed.” 69 It has not been revealed to me except that I am a clear warner." 70 [For,] lo, thy Sustainer said unto the angels: "Behold, I am about to create a human being out of clay; 71 So when I have proportioned him and breathed into him of My [created] soul, then fall down to him in prostration." 72 So the angels prostrated themselves, all of them: 73 Not so Iblis: he was haughty, and became one of those who reject Faith. 74 He said: O Iblis! What hindereth thee from falling prostrate before that which I have created with both My hands? Art thou too proud or art thou of the high exalted? 75 He said: I am better than him. Thou createdst me of fire, whilst him Thou didst create of clay. 76 'Begone' said He, 'you are stoned'. 77 “And indeed My curse is upon you till the Day of Judgement.” 78 But Satan said, "My Lord, grant me respite until the Day of Resurrection," 79 The Lord said, "You will only be given a respite 80 till the Day the time whereof is known [only to Me]." 81 He said: by Thy majesty, then, I shall surely seduce them, all. 82 [all] save such of them as are truly Thy servants!" 83 The Lord said, "I swear by the Truth - and I speak the Truth - 84 That I shall fill hell with thee and with such of them as follow thee, together. 85 Say, [O Muhammad], "I do not ask you for the Qur'an any payment, and I am not of the pretentious 86 “It is not but an advice for the entire world.” 87 You will know the truth of the matter after a while.” 88
