3/4 Hizb 45
< random >
Noah called for help. How blessed was the answer which he received. 75 And We delivered him and his followers from the mighty distress. 76 and made his offspring the only ones to survive, 77 And We perpetuated to him (praise) among the later generations. 78 Peace be upon Noah among all the peoples! 79 As such We recompense the gooddoers, 80 For he was one of our believing Servants. 81 We drowned all the others (besides Noah and his people). 82 ۞ And most surely Ibrahim followed his way. 83 Behold! he approached his Lord with a sound heart. 84 and when he said to his father and to his nation: 'What do you worship? 85 "Is it a falsehood aliha (gods) other than Allah that you seek? 86 "Then what do you think about the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns, and all that exists)?" 87 Then he glanced a glance on the stars. 88 and said, "Verily, I am sick [at heart]!" 89 But they turned their backs on him and went away. 90 Then he turned to their gods, and said, 'What do you eat? 91 What is the matter with you, why do you not speak?” 92 Then he started striking them down with his right hand. 93 Then they (the worshippers of idols) came, towards him, hastening. 94 He said: "Worship you that which you (yourselves) carve? 95 “Whereas Allah has created you and your actions?” 96 They spoke among themselves: “Build him a pyre and then throw him into the furnace.” 97 So they contrived a plot against him, but We made them abject. 98 And he said, “Indeed I shall go to my Lord Who will guide me.” 99 My Lord! Bestow on me a son who will be of the righteous. 100 Then We gave him the good tidings of a prudent boy; 101 And [one day,] when [the child] had become old enough to share in his [father's] endeavours, the latter said: "O my dear son! I have seen in a dream that I should sacrifice thee: consider, then, what would be thy view!" [Ishmael] answered: "O my father! Do as thou art bidden: thou wilt find me, if God so wills, among those who are patient in adversity!" 102 When they submitted to the will of God, and (Abraham) laid (his son) down prostrate on his temple, 103 And We called out to him: "O Abraham! 104 “You have indeed made the dream come true”; and this is how We reward the virtuous. 105 This is indeed the manifest trial.' 106 And We ransomed him with a mighty sacrifice, 107 And We perpetuated (praise) to him among the later generations. 108 'Peace be upon Abraham' 109 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 110 Indeed, he was of Our believing servants. 111 And We gave him the good news of Isaac - a prophet,- one of the Righteous. 112 And We blessed him, and Isaac; and of their seed some are good-doers, and some manifest self-wrongers. 113
