Say: I am only a warner, and there is no god but Allah, the One, the Subduer (of all): 65 "The Lord of the heavens and the earth, and all between,- Exalted in Might, able to enforce His Will, forgiving again and again." 66 Say: "This is a momentous message, 67 To which you pay no heed. 68 I had no knowledge of the Exalted Assembly when they argued [against the creation of man]: 69 Only this has been revealed to me that I am a distinct warner. 70 Recall what time thy Lord said unto the angels: verily I am about to create a human being from clay; 71 So when I have made him complete and breathed into him of My spirit, then fall down making obeisance to him. 72 The angels prostrated themselves, all of them. 73 Except Iblees; he was arrogant and became among the disbelievers. 74 He said: O Iblis! what prevented you that you should do obeisance to him whom I created with My two hands? Are you proud or are you of the exalted ones? 75 Said he, 'I am better than he; Thou createdst me of fire, and him Thou createdst of clay.' 76 "Begone! You are accursed: 77 'My curse shall rest on you until the Day of Recompense' 78 (Iblis) said: "O my Lord! Give me then respite till the Day the (dead) are raised." 79 Said He, 'Thou art among the ones that are respited 80 for an appointed time". 81 He said, "By Your Glory, I shall seduce all of them (children of Adam). 82 [all] save such of them as are truly Thy servants!" 83 Allah said: the truth is, and it is the truth that I speak 84 I will fill up Hell with you and every one of them who follows you." 85 (O Prophet), tell them: “I do not ask you for any recompense for the performance of this task; nor am I given to affectation. 86 It is nothing but a reminder unto all beings, 87 and you shall surely know its tiding after a while.' 88
