Say: 'I am only a warner. There is no god except Allah, the One, the Conqueror, 65 Lord of the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them, the Exalted in Might, the Perpetual Forgiver." 66 Say: “This is a tiding of tremendous import 67 but you have turned away from it. 68 "No knowledge have I of the Chiefs on high, when they discuss (matters) among themselves. 69 It is revealed unto me only that I may be a plain warner. 70 [So mention] when your Lord said to the angels, "Indeed, I am going to create a human being from clay. 71 So when I have made him complete and breathed into him of My spirit, then fall down making obeisance to him. 72 Then the angels bowed themselves all together, 73 except iblis (satan, the father of the jinn), he became too proud, for he was one of the unbelievers. 74 The Lord said, "Iblis, what prevented you from prostrating before what I have created with My own hands? Was it because of your pride or are you truly exalted?" 75 He said: I am better than him. Thou createdst me of fire, whilst him Thou didst create of clay. 76 Allah said: get thee forth therefrom; verily thou art driven away. 77 And indeed, upon you is My curse until the Day of Recompense." 78 Satan said: “My Lord, then grant me respite till the Day that they are raised up.” 79 Said Allah, “You are therefore among those given respite.” 80 for an appointed time". 81 He said: by Thy majesty, then, I shall surely seduce them, all. 82 Other than the chosen ones among Your creatures." 83 Said He, 'This is the truth, and the truth I say; 84 I will fill up Hell with you together with those who follow you." 85 Say: "No reward do I ask of you for this (Qur'an), nor am I a pretender. 86 It is but a reminder to the worlds. 87 You will know the truth of the matter after a while.” 88
