۞ Who, then, can be more unjust than he who lied against Allah and denied the Truth when it came to him, calling it a lie? Is there no room for such unbelievers in Hell? 32 And he who has come with the very truth and confirms it, those they are the godfearing. 33 They shall have all that they wish for, in the presence of their Lord: such is the reward of those who do good: 34 God will efface their worst deeds from their record and give them their reward in accordance with the best of their actions. 35 IS NOT God enough for His servant? And yet, they would frighten thee with those [imaginary divine powers which they worship] beside Him! But he whom God lets go astray can never find any guide, 36 whereas he whom God guides aright can never be led astray. Is not God almighty, an avenger of evil? 37 And verily, if you ask them: "Who created the heavens and the earth?" Surely, they will say: "Allah (has created them)." Say: "Tell me then, the things that you invoke besides Allah, if Allah intended some harm for me, could they remove His harm, or if He (Allah) intended some mercy for me, could they withhold His Mercy?" Say: "Sufficient for me is Allah; in Him those who trust (i.e. believers) must put their trust." 38 Say: O my people! work in your place, surely I am a worker, so you will come to know. 39 "To whom comes a disgracing torment, and on whom descends an everlasting torment." 40 [O Prophet!] We have sent down to you the Book for mankind with the truth. Then whoever adopts the right way, will do so for his own soul, and whoever goes astray, injures his own soul. You are not their custodian. 41
