Have you seen the one who turned away 33 And gave a little, then was grudging? 34 Hath he knowledge of the Unseen so that he seeth? 35 Nay, is he not acquainted with what is in the Books of Moses- 36 and of Abraham, who to his trust was true: 37 That no soul laden bears the load of another, 38 And that there is not for man except that [good] for which he strives 39 and that his work is surely seen 40 then, he shall be recompensed for it in full repayment 41 And that to your Lord is the goal- 42 That it is He Who granteth Laughter and Tears; 43 And that it is He Who gave death and gave life? 44 and that He Himself created the two sexes: male and female, 45 From seed when it is emitted. 46 And that He hath ordained the second bringing forth; 47 that it is He who gives wealth and possessions; 48 and that it is He who is the Lord of Sirius, 49 And that He did destroy the Ad of old 50 And Samood, so He spared not 51 And the people of Noah before. Indeed, it was they who were [even] more unjust and oppressing. 52 and He overthrew the subverted cities [of Sodom and Gomorrah] 53 So that there covered them that which did cover. 54 So O listener! Which favour of your Lord will you doubt? 55 This is a Warner, of the (series of) Warners of old! 56 The near event draws nigh. 57 None beside Allah can disclose it. 58 Do you, perchance, find this tiding strange? 59 And you laugh at it and weep not, 60 While ye amuse yourselves? 61 So prostrate yourselves before Allah and worship. ۩ 62
True are the words of God the Almighty.

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
