۞ Who does greater wrong than he who tells a lie against God, and denies the truth when it has come to him? Is there no place for unbelievers in Hell? 32 And those who brought this truth and those who testify for it – these are the pious. 33 They shall have what they will of their Lord's bounty. That is the reward of the good: 34 And to this end, God will efface from their record the worst that they ever did, and give them their reward in accordance with the best that they were doing [in life]. 35 IS NOT God enough for His servant? And yet, they would frighten thee with those [imaginary divine powers which they worship] beside Him! But he whom God lets go astray can never find any guide, 36 And no one can mislead whomever Allah guides; is not Allah the Most Honourable, the Avenger? 37 And wert thou to ask them: who hath created the heavens and the earth? they will surely say: Allah. Say thou: bethink ye then that those whom ye call upon beside Allah, could they if Allah intended some hurt for me, remove His hurt? or if He intended some mercy for me, could they withhold His mercy? Say thou: enough for me is Allah; in Him the trusting put their trust. 38 Say: 'My people, act according to your station; I am acting; and soon you will know 39 who it is that shall be visited [in this world] by suffering which will cover him with ignominy, and upon whom long-lasting suffering shall alight [in the life to come]!" 40 Surely We have sent down upon thee the Book for mankind with the truth. Whosoever is guided, is only guided to his own gain, and whosoever goes astray, it is only to his own loss; thou art not a guardian over them. 41
