Hast thou not regarded those who dispute concerning the signs of God, how they are turned about? 69 Those who belie the Book and that with which We sent Our Messengers shall soon know. 70 When the fetters and chains are on their necks, and they dragged 71 In boiling water; then in the Fire they will be filled [with flame]. 72 Then shall it be said to them: Where is that which you used to set up 73 They will say, "They have been lost to us; nay, we did not invoke anything before [that had real existence]." Thus God leaves the deniers of the truth to stray; 74 "This is so because you went about exulting wrongfully in the land," (will they be told), "and you were insolent. 75 Enter Hell now to abide in it. How woeful is the abode of those who wax proud! 76 So be patient, surely the promise of Allah is true. So should We make you see part of what We threaten them with, or should We cause you to die, to Us shall they be returned. 77 And We have already sent messengers before you. Among them are those [whose stories] We have related to you, and among them are those [whose stories] We have not related to you. And it was not for any messenger to bring a sign [or verse] except by permission of Allah. So when the command of Allah comes, it will be concluded in truth, and the falsifiers will thereupon lose [all]. 78
