Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
50 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah) before Q (Qaaf)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the (Winds) sent forth one after another (to man's profit); 1 And the winds that blow violently 2 And scatter (things) far and wide; 3 thus separating [right and wrong] with all clarity, 4 and by those who reveal revelations (to the prophets) 5 To excuse or to warn, 6 BEHOLD, all that you are told to expect will surely come to pass. 7 So when the stars are made to lose their light, 8 When the heaven is cleft asunder; 9 And when the mountains are carried away by wind. 10 And when the Messengers are gathered to their time appointed; 11 For what day is that time fixed? 12 For the Day of Decision. 13 And what do you know, what the Day of Decision is! 14 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 15 Destroyed We not the former folk, 16 So shall We make later generations to follow them. 17 So We serve the sinners. 18 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 19 Did We not create you from a humble fluid, 20 And We placed it in a firm lodging 21 for a term pre-ordained? 22 Thus We have determined the stages of development and Our power to determine is excellent indeed. 23 Ah woe, that Day! to the Rejecters of Truth! 24 Have We not made the earth a receptacle? 25 The living and the dead, 26 And placed in it lofty and broad stablisers, and gave you sweet water to drink? 27 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 28 (It will be said unto them:) Depart unto that (doom) which ye used to deny; 29 "Depart you to a shadow (of Hell-fire smoke ascending) in three columns, 30 Neither shading nor availing against the flame. 31 Indeed hell throws up sparks like huge castles. 32 Seeming like yellow camels. 33 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 34 On that Day they will be speechless, 35 Nor shall they be permitted so that they might excuse themselves. 36 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 37 That is the Day of Judgment. We will bring you together with all the ancient peoples. 38 Now, if ye have a trick (or plot), use it against Me! 39 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 40

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
Click or tap the small triangles above and below the frame on the left to display the Juz Table of Contents where you can go to any Juz, Hizb, ¾, ½, ¼, or any page within.
ColorfulQuran.com displays pages in one of three Arabic fonts. Each may appear with a one-third chance, adding more diversity to the already diverse colors. And the words remain unchanged forever. ColorfulQuran.com will have more beautiful fonts soon, God willing.
